About the 50th Diversity

Chicago’s 50th Ward is one of the most interesting and diverse areas our city has to offer. A wide variety of religious and ethnic groups call the ward home, adding their own culture and ideas to our community, creating the melting pot our forefathers envisioned when they founded our country. The 50th Ward has a vibrant economy and business community. Constant improvement with help from the local TIF district and other city services has enabled businesses of all types to flourish. We are proud of the character of our residential neighborhoods. Through carefully planned development, we have seen our community blossom and know that our future is bright. The 50th Ward is a great place to live, work, run a business and raise a family. Alderman Stone knows this, and is proud to have helped make our community what it is today.
